Pseudo (alt-punk) announce US summer tour

Toronto alt-punks Pseudo have announced a lengthy tour of the US for the upcoming summer season. The tour, which will begin on April 27th in Grand Rapids, MI, will take the band all across the country through to July. This will be the band’s first tour outside of Canada.

DS Exclusive Stream: Pseudo (Punk) Streams Debut LP “Renovations”

Gather ’round kiddies, because we’ve got something very special for you today! Canuck punks, Psuedo are releasing their debut, ten track LP tomorrow (recorded, mixed, mastered, and produced by the venerable Steve Rizun at Drive Studios). To celebrate this milestone, the boys sent the album over for us to stream for our faithful readers! This talented trio of brothers shows a high level of proficiency, mixing in a wide variety of different sounds, drawing from multiple genres. Some tracks have a progressive, Propagandhi vibe to them, while others are pure, pop punk gems. Fans of Dead to Me or fellow Torontonians (that can’t be right?) The Flatliners are definitely going to want to spin this one. Stream the LP, in it’s entirety below!

Renovations is a follow up to the trio’s self titled EP, released about two years ago.



Music Video: Pseudo – “Outlaws”

Toronto punk rock band Pseudo have released a peachy new video for their song, “Outlaws.” The track is the 5th one off of their upcoming full-length, Renovations. Strung together in a series of vignettes, the video makes interesting use of the fruit and is so much on the odd side that you may have no choice but to enjoy it’s quirkiness. The band wants everyone to know that, “None of the peaches in the video went to waste and will be put towards sustainable gardening projects as well as an endless supply of peach jam.”

Renovations is scheduled for release on November 19th, 2016 and will serve as a follow-up to the band’s 2014 self-titled EP.



Pseudo (punk) stream new song “Slump (Rink-a-Dink)” off upcoming full-length “Renovations”

Toronto punk act Pseudo are streaming the first track off of their upcoming debut album, Renovations. The song is called “Slump (Rink-a-Dink) and you can stream it over on their Bandcamp page.

If you are a fan of Dead To Me, Jeff Rosenstock, or anything of the like, you might enjoy this new tune! The guitar riffs and powerful drum beat are reflective of modern punk, with harmonies and melody that kick it back to the Beach Boys days. Regardless of where you are on the spectrum, there is a little bit for everyone in this song.
