Members of Ten Foot Pole, DC Fallout, Implants & more form new band Fairvale

Fairvale is a new punk super-group of sorts from Los Angeles, California, featuring Paul Lapinsky of Static Fiction, as well as DC Fallout‘s Scott Hallquist (who is also a touring guitarist for Ten Foot Pole), Chris Del Rio of Ten Foot Pole (formerly of Implants), and A.J. Condosta, who has played drums for Voodoo Glow Skulls and Jughead’s Revenge.

The band hasn’t put out any tunes yet, but they’re planning on doing so sometime soon. Be sure to follow them on their Facebook and/or Twitter pages, and stay tuned for updates on what they have in store.



Punk Rock Foodie Fest (Costa Mesa, CA) will feature 11 bands and punk rock chefs

If you like punk and food (and live in Southern California), this is the event for you! On December 12th, 2014, the Tiki Bar in Costa Mesa, CA will be hosting the Punk Rock Foodie Fest.

For the punk portion, 11 different bands will be performing including Left Alone, Bad Cop/Bad Cop, DC Fallout, Joey Briggs, Eken is Dead, and more. Check out the full lineup on the poster above.

For the foodie portion, during the earlier acoustic part of the evening, Punk Rock chefs will be preparing food for the guests. Get there early!

Chicago skate punk label Oxford Records has announced plans to release a new compilation entitled “The Ivy League,” featuring songs (some old, some new) from DC Fallout, Adrenalized, Sic Waiting, Down Goes Goodman, Whitekaps, and many others.

“The Ivy League” is set to be released on January 7th. We’ll be sure to let you know when it’s made available for streaming on the label’s Bandcamp.
