Big news day for grunge punkers Kamikaze Girls. The British two piece has announced that its first full length ‘Seafoam’ will be released through Big Scary Monsters (UK + RoW) & Wiretap Records (US). The album won’t be out until the 9th of June but the first single ‘Berlin’ is up for listening now. Pre-order Seafoam in the US here and rest of the world here.
Alongside the news, the band have revealed a June UK tour with Nervus, as well as a string of festival appearances including The Great Escape, 2000 Trees and Truck Festival. You can catch those and ‘Berlin’ below.

UK sad punks Kamikaze Girls have joined forces with the burgeoning label from Belgium: Bearded Punk Records. In addition, they’ve been slated to play Fest in the first round of their announcements (which you can check here). No word yet from either band or label on a future release, but we’ll keep you updated.
The two-piece has a similar sound to White Lung (if they were just a bit calmer and more British). You can check out their sound for yourself on their track “Tonic Youth” below.
