The holidays are well and truly on their way now, and what better way to begin than for the people at Black Iris Booking to announce the lineup for the annual Black Christmas event. The show is scheduled to take place on December 30th at the Majestic Theatre in Detroit, Michigan.
This year’s stacked lineup features The Suicide Machines, The Black Dahlia Murder, Municipal Waste, Fucked Up, Mustard Plug, Koffin Kats, Flamingo Nosebleed, HIFI Handgrenades, Tart, The Bison Machine, Dirtwolf, The Idiot Kids, S.U.B., Cheapshow, Madhouse, Rebel Spies, The War Between, and J. Navarro & The Traitors.

Ferrell was the drummer for Municipal Waste from 2002 to 2004, and appeared on their 2003 debut album Waste ‘Em All. He also played a variety of instruments for bands like Direct Control, Government Warning, Wasted Time, Career Suicide, and Obsessor.
Virginia’s speed punks Municipal Waste have announced some UK shows that will take place in June. Before the tour kicks off they, will be playing this year’s Download festival on June 11th. The dates/locations are below.
Municipal Waste’s last album to date, The Fatal Feast, was released in 2012 through Nuclear Blast. When there will be new music from the band is unknown, but we’ll keep you posted as more details come to light.

The ongoing “bands advent calendar” at Pouzza Fest’s headquarters is happening just as planned. They began unveiling bands on December 1st and since the last announcement, Municipal Waste, The Dwarves, 88 Fingers Louie, Teenage Bottlerocket, and Knapsack have been added to Pouzza Fest’s 2015 edition which will take place in Montreal on May 15-16-17.

Virginia’s speed punks Municipal Waste, along with Torche and Night Birds, have announced the “Feast on the Southeast” tour beginning early next year. You can check out the dates and show poster below.
Just earlier today we posted that Municipal Waste will be playing Pouzza Fest 5 in downtown Montreal on May 15, 16 and 17.
The band released The Fatal Feast in 2012 through Nuclear Blast. More recently, Night Birds released Monster Surf through Wallride Records last June.

For the holiday season, the folks at Pouzza Fest came up with a pretty original idea, they’ll reveal the first 24 bands to perform at next year’s edition using the advent calendar method, unveiling 1 band per day until Christmas! They’ve so far announced that Municipal Waste, Wasted Potential and Eli Whitney And The Sound Machine will all take part of Pouzza Fest 5, which is set to take place downtown Montreal on May 15-16-17.

New York hardcore legends Madball and Virginia’s speed punks Municipal Waste have announced a co-headlining tour that includes appearances around the east coast and Canada. You can check the dates below.
Madball is gearing up to release their newest album, Hardcore Lives, on June 27, 2014 via The Black N Blue Label (in U.S.) and Nuclear Blast (in Europe). Municipal Waste, meanwhile, released their latest album, The Fatal Feast, in 2012 through Nuclear Blast.
Iron Reagan (featuring members of Municipal Waste, and Darkest Hour) have announced that they will be hitting the road with Occultist for an extensive tour of the U.S. Appearing with the bands on select dates will be thrash metal act Ghoul.

GWAR have announced the dates and the preliminary line-up for the 2013 GWAR-B-CUE. It’ll happen at Hadad’s Lake in Richmond, VA, on August 17. Corrosion of Conformity, Municipal Waste, Cannabis Corpse, Pig Destroyer, and Loincloth have been announces so far.
