Screeching Weasel proceeds with Orlando show, but not at HOB

Earlier this month, we posted about old-school punk band Screeching Weasel being banned from playing at the House Of Blues Orlando because of Disney’s distaste for some of Weasel’s lyrics (the venue’s location is on Disney property).  Well, in an effort to bring the sweet sounds of Screeching Weasel to Orlando, Ben Weasel announced yesterday that the band will be performing at Hard Rock Live instead, playing alongside The Queers and The Spears on 11 June 2010.  Tickets go on sale this Friday.
