Members of The Real McKenzies and The Offenders form new band BREW 36

Members from celtic punk legends The Real McKenzies and members of the Berlin-based ska group The Offenders have comes together to form an awesome punk-ale band called BREW 36. Now you’re probably thinking “what the heck do they sound like?” and I could describe it to you, but you would be better off checking out their new song “Troublemakers Crew” and some upcoming German tour dates below. The song comes off of their upcoming debut album entitled “Our Brew” which is set to release in November; we will keep you posted as the date nears.

Video: Members of P.O. Box perform a cappella medley “41 Songs of Sum 41”

Two members of French ska-punk act P.O. Box, along with some friends, have put together another awesome vocal arrangement. This time, they are doing 41 Songs of Sum 41.

This medley is just one in a series of a cappella punk rock medleys that this group have been doing for the last year or so and they’ve just put together a kickstarter to fund an entire album of their work.  You can learn more and check out some of the previous medleys (Fat Wreck ’90-’99, Rancid, NOFX, NUFAN) here.



The Prosecution (skacore) streams “Sofa Spuds” off of new album

German skacore band The Prosecution released a new song, “Sofa Spuds,” and you can check it out below.

The track appears on the band’s new album, At the Edge of the End, which was released on Long Beach Records.  The 12-track album features guest vocals from Dicky Barrett of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

French ska-punk act P.O. Box have announced the “F#RTH#R European Tour 2015” and you can check out the list of dates below. Head over to their Facebook for more information about specific locations and supporting acts.

Their latest album, F#RTH#R, was released back in February 2014 via Long Beach Records.

The Prosecution release teaser for “The Last Shot” video

German skacore act The Prosecution have released a teaser for their upcoming music video. The track in question, “The Last Shot”, will appear on the band’s upcoming debut album, Words With Destiny. You can watch the teaser below.

Imagine if Anti-Flag had a horn section and incorporated a little more upstroking in their guitar work.  That’s what German skacore act The Prosecution sound like.  On February 27th they’ll be releasing their third album “Words With Destiny” via Long Beach Records and to get you fired up you can check out a music video for the track “A New Sensation” below.  It features Chris#2 from Anti-Flag and is well worth a watch/listen.

French ska-punk act P.O. Box have released a music video for a brand new song titled “Last Train To PAM” and you can check it out below.

The song (I assume) will appear on their brand’s new album “F#RTH#R” which according to their facebook page was released yesterday though I can’t seem to find a link to anywhere that you can buy the album.  Hopefully they’ll have the whole thing streaming somewhere like bandcamp soon and we’ll let you know when that happens.
