Charlie Bit My Finger (pop punk) announce Canadian tour dates

Belgian pop-punk act Charlie Bit My Finger have announced their first Canadian Tour. Set to take place on the east coast, the trek will begin on May 15th in Blainville, QC and come to an end at the infamous Bovine Sex Club in Toronto, ON on May 22nd. The trek also includes a stop at Montreal’s Pouzza Fest, all dates can be found below.

Charlie Bit My Finger’s lastest album “Third Time’s A Farm”, was released in 2017 via Thousand Islands Records in Canada and Bearded Punk Records in Europe.



Trashed Ambulance announce new album “Flashes of Competence”

Hailing from Alberta, Trashed Ambulance have just announced that they’ll be releasing their new album “Flashes of Competence” sometime in early May of this year on Thousand Islands Records.

These guys will also be auctioning off five songs on Facebook which will be recorded and released in Summer of 2018 to help support their tour which will end with an appearance at Pouzza Fest in Montreal. Click here for more details.



Dutch skatepunks Sun-0-Bathers premiere video, debut EP to release next week

You into butts? Yeah, you’re into butts. How about 1980s butts? Yeah, you’re into 1980s butts. Sun-0-Bathers has you covered with their latest video, “Sunspray,” which features lots and lots of rad 80s beach footage. It could use more banana hammock to even things out, but that’s just me. Anyway, “Sunspray” is another single off Sun-0-Bathers’ debut EP, “Local Warming.” It’ll be out Friday, March 16th on Thousand Islands, Bearded Punk, Melodic Punk Style, No Affiliation, and drummer Jouke’s own label, Morning Wood.

Shift-D (melodic) streaming new song “Recovery”

Burly city melodic punks Shift-D are streaming the song “Recovery” off of their upcoming album “This Message Will Self Destruct”. The new album will be released in March through Thousand Island Records.

Montreal melodic punk act Arising From have signed to Thousand Islands Records.  The band is working on new material that should hopefully see a release next year.

Bussieres sign to Thousand Islands Records, releasing new EP next year

Montreal melodic punks Bussieres have signed to Thousand Islands Records with plans to release a new EP in early 2018. They will begin recording the EP next month.

The band’s 4-song debut Orange Glow was released in 2016. Check that out on bandcamp.



These Fast Times (pop-punk) sign to Thousand Island Records

Montreal pop-punkers These Fast Times have announced that they have signed with Thousand Island Records to release their debut album On The Other Side of Fear in early 2018.

The album follows up the bands’ self-titled EP that was released in February of 2016.  You can give that a listen below if you haven’t heard it already.

Quebec natives Exhibition are streaming their upcoming EP “Point of No Return”.

“Point of No Return” is the second release from Exhibition, the first since 2014’s “Never Again”. The album features heavy riffs and excellent vocals. I highly suggest if your a fan of Sick of It All or Good Riddance you give these guys a listen, they won’t disappoint.
