New Video: Jeff Caudill (Gameface) – “I Wouldn’t Wait” from new EP, “Reset The Sun”

With Gameface back on indefinite hiatus, it’s been a minute or two since we’ve heard from Jeff Caudill, but that doesn’t mean he’s been staying quiet. He’s got a brand-new EP, Reset The Sun, that’s due out in a limited vinyl run today as an official Record Store Day release (it came out on digital formats yesterday).

For a hint as to the smooth, modern Americana vibe that is featured on Reset The Sun, Caudill has released a video for the track “I Wouldn’t Wait.” Check it out below.

Gameface, as you probably know, have been quiet since the 2014 release of their latest full-length, Now Is What Matters Now, which itself was their first album in over a decade.

Say Anything and Bayside release covers of each other’s songs

Ahead of the bands’ tour together, Say Anything and Bayside have released reimagined cover versions of each other’s music. For the collaboration, Say Anything’s Max Bemis and Bayside’s Anthony Raneri covered one another’s tracks..

Raneri’s re-imagined version of Say Anything’s “Night’s Song” can be heard at Facebook.com/bayside and Bemis’ rendition of “They’re Not Horses, They’re Unicorns” can be heard now at Facebook.com/sayanything. Full tour dates are below.



Matt Pryor releases video for “Mary”

Matt Pryor has released an animated video for “Mary”. The track is from last month’s “Memento Mori” full length, which was released on Equal Vision.

Matt Pryor streams new album, announces tour dates

The Get Up Kids frontman Matt Pryor is streaming his 5th solo studio album, Memento Mori, ahead of its February 17th release date.  You can check it out below.

In addition, Pryor is getting ready to embark on a 3-month U.S. tour with Dan Andriano of  Alkaline Trio, and you can find all those dates below.

Memento Mori will be released by Equal Vision and Rory Records.



Matt Pryor streaming new song “Mary”

The Get Up Kids frontman Matt Pryor is streaming another new song from his upcoming solo album Memento Mori. The track is called “Mary,” and you can give it a listen below.

Releasing on February 17th through Equal Vision and Rory Records, Memento Mori will be Pryor’s fifth solo album. He will soon embark on a US tour with Dan Andriano on Alkaline Trio.



Capsize release video for “Favorite Secret”

Capsize have released a video for “Favorite Secret”, from last summer’s “A Reintroduction: The Essence of All That Surrounds Me” full length. The footage was all shot during the band’s recent European tour.

Set to embark on a US tour together next month, Matt Pryor of The Get Up Kids and Alkaline Trio‘s Dan Andriano have collaborated on a cover of the Simon & Garfunkel classic “Cecila.”

The Get Up Kids frontman Matt Pryor has premiered a new song from his upcoming solo album Memento Mori. The track’s titled “I Won’t Be Afraid,” and you can check it out below.

Set to release on February 17th through Equal Vision and Rory Records, Memento Mori will be Pryor’s fifth solo album. He will be touring the US with Dan Andriano on Alkaline Trio in the coming months.

Sleep On It (pop punk) release new music video – “Counting Miles”

Chicago pop-punk band Sleep On It have a new music video out for their song, “Counting Miles,” and you can watch it below.

The track is from the band’s new EP, Lost Along The Way, which came out back in October on Equal Vision Records.

Speaking about the song, guitarist/co-lyricist TJ Horansky says, “Lyrically, it tackles the reality of playing in a touring band and how that often leads to strained friendships. It’s a rewarding feeling to be out there chasing your dreams, but I’ve personally become more distant from some people as a result.” Horansky adds, “We thought a tour montage would be an appropriate video choice for this song.”



Matt Pryor & Dan Andriano announce tour

Matt Pryor (The Get Up Kids) and Dan Andriano (Alkaline Trio) are to embark on a length US tour next that stretches from February through to May.

Pryor will be touring in support of the release “Memento Mori”, his fifth solo album, on February 17 via Equal Vision Records and Rory Records. The album is available for pre-order here.
