X-State Ride announce breakup & final shows

Italian skate punks X-State Ride have sadly announced they will be calling it quits after 15 years.

The band posted a statement on their Facebook: “Hello dudes and dudettes, after more than 15 years of touring, making music, making awesome friends across Europe and beyond, we decided to put the word end to X-state ride. Things and priorities always change in everyone’s life so to preserve the spirit that we had when we started the band in the first place we are going to stop for good. We just wanted to say thank you to the people that always believed in us and constantly supported the riders through the years. We got 5 more last shows which are listed below so make sure to hit one to party on with us once again!

Female fronted street-punk act New Real Disaster premiere “Compromise” off upcoming EP

Female fronted punk acts aren’t as rare as they once were but most of them still skew towards more poppier sensibilities. Italy’s New Real Disaster is breaking the mold, however, with an aggressive sound more akin to the grittier stylings of street punk. Singer Giusy Amaro knows how to belt out an aggressive punk rock anthem with all the gusto of her gravelly vocaled male counterparts in the scene.

The band will be releasing a new EP titled “The Truth, The Lie and The Compromise” on September 5th release through Indelirium Records and to give you a taste of what’s to come we implore you to stream “Compromise” below. You won’t regret it.

Coffee Shower (skate punk) release retrospective album “The Glory Years” (full stream)

Italian punk act, Coffee Shower, have released a retrospective album called “The Glory Years.” The record focuses on the entire Coffeeshower 14 year career, from their first lo-fi recordings in the veins of 90′s core to their more recent rock style with punk roots.  It includes heir very rare first ep’s, the songs from their 2004 split cd with the Dutch band Dependent and 6 unreleased songs, two of them recorded exclusively for this release. two new songs, their first two EPs and other unreleased tracks.

The album is being put out via Indelirium Records and you can stream the entire thing below.
