Death By Stereo announce 7-inch EP “Neverending”

SoCal hardcore punk veterans Death By Stereo have announced the release of a 7″ EP called Neverending. The EP, which is available for only 1000 copies on black vinyl, features the title track and the cover version of the Dead Kennedys classic “Too Drunk to Fuck”, and you can get it here.

In addition, Death By Stereo just released a music video for “Neverending”, which you can check out below.

Other than these two “new” songs, Death By Stereo have not released a full-length studio album since 2012’s Black Sheep of the American Dream.

Death By Stereo announce vinyl reissue of “Day of the Death”

SoCal hardcore punk veterans Death By Stereo have announced a vinyl reissue of their 2001 classic second album Day of the Death, which was their first release on Epitaph Records.

To coincide with Black Friday, the vinyl reissue will be released on November 27th on their former label Indecision Records and will be the first time in years that Day of the Death was available on vinyl. You can pre-order a copy of the reissue here.

Versus the World release music video teaser

Santa Barbra punkers Versus the World (featuring members of the Ataris and Lagwagon) have released a music video teaser for an upcoming as yet unnamed song off their upcoming album “Homesick/Roadsick”. The album is set to drop JUNE 23rd through Kung Fu Records, and the band has announced a summer release tour across the UK with Santa Cruz punks Good Riddance

Versus the World announce album drop date, more summer tour dates

Santa Barbra based pop-punk band Versus the World (featuring members of the Ataris and Lagwagon) have announced a new release date for the third full length album titled “Homesick/Roadsick”. The album comes out on JUNE 23 through Kung Fu Records! In addition, they have added more tour dates to their summer album release tour. The band has added 7 shows to the tour between Australia and New Zealeand with Santa Cruz punk icons Good Riddance. Check out the new dates below, and there are more to come so stay tuned.

Death By Stereo release music video for their cover of Rancid’s “Rejected”

Death By Stereo have released a music video for their cover of Rancid‘s “Rejected” which is taken from the upcoming 50+ track Rancid tribute album, Hooligans United. The song features Transplants‘ Skinhead Rob on vocals. Check out the video below.

Hooligans United will be released on April 14th through Smelvis Records, and features 51 (54 on the digital version) Rancid covers from bands such as Death By Stereo, Anti-Flag, and Authority Zero. As of today, Southern California hardcore punk band Death By Stereo are in the studio recording a new EP. No other information is available yet, but we’ll keep you posted as the band releases more details on the EP.

Hardcore punk band Death By Stereo have announced that they are working on some new music:

Just wanted to drop everyone a line and let you all know what’s going on with DBS and the tour. We are not going to be able to announce a full tour for a bit. We have a lot of different things going on right now as individuals and just can’t make it out on the road quite yet. We will be announcing some shows coming up but not a full tour. We are working on some new recordings and will have a release to tell you about soon! As soon as Efrem and Dan get off the road we will begin recording. That means new music soon! Hardcore punk band Death By Stereo covered Slayer’s song “Raining Blood” while performing at the House Of Blues in San Diego, CA. Here’s what the band had to say: “R.I.P. Jeff Hanneman. You will be missed eternally. Here is our humble tribute to you and your amazing band. We still can’t wrap our heads around the fact that you are gone. Your influence is infinite, no compromise as a way of life. Thanks for the heavy tunes man. You made us all want to smash our skateboards through windows and yell “SLAYER!!!” out at shows, in parking lots, at people, at the world.
