Man Overboard’s Lost Tape Collective announces 3 new releases

In addition to “defending pop punk” (from who or what, we’re not sure), Man Overboard also releases music under its Lost Tape Collective.  The label recently put out 3  releases, all on cassette:  a re-release of The Explosion’s 2000 album, Flash Flash FlashHostage Calm‘s Die on Stage; and Young Statues’ The Flatlands Are Your Friend.

Man Overboard will also be on tour this spring with Bayside, and they plan to release a new album later this year.  Their most recent release was the Passing Ends EP.



Man Overboard to record new album in 2015

Though the band’s already releasing a new EP next week, Man Overboard guitar player Justin Collier revealed in a recent interview that they are currently in the process of demoing songs for a new full-length album, which they plan to begin recording in early 2015.

No further details are available right now, but we’ll keep you posted as more info on the new Man Overboard record come to light. The New Jersey pop-punk act’s new EP Passing Ends is set to be released on October 28th through Lost Tape Collective.



Man Overboard announce new podcast series, stream first episode

Man Overboard have announced a new podcast series titled Real Talk Radio and are currently streaming Episode One now. The band aim for releasing two episodes every month, where they just talk about random stuff with guests. Check out the pilot episode, featuring Buddy Nielsen of Senses Failbelow.

Man Overboard announce new EP “Passing Ends”, stream new song “For Vince”

Man Overboard have announced a new five song EP entitled “Passing Ends” and are streaming a new song from it called ‘For Vince’ which you can listen to below.

The EP is out October 28th on Lost Tape Collective, the bands label, and is now up for pre-order here. All pre-orders receive an immediate digital download of ‘For Vince.’

“Passing Ends” is the precursor to the bands next LP, which they are currently writing and will be released in 2015 via Rise Records. The EP was recorded at the band’s Small Hill Studio. To finish off the EP, it was mixed and mastered by Will Yip (Circa Survive, Title Fight, Balance & Composure).



New Music: Farpoint (solo Zac from Man Overboard) – “Think About The Future”

Zac Eisenstein, whom you probably know from his role handling guitar and vocal duties in Man Overboard, has got a solo project that he’s calling Farpoint. Or farpoint, if we’re being stylistically correct.

Anyway, farpoint’s debut EP, “Think About The Future,” is available through Man Overboard’s self-run label, Lost Tape Collective. You can get it here digitally, or stream it below.

Man Overboard have released a mini-documentary on their band and the label they run, called Lost Tape Collective. The video features interviews with band members Lost Tape employees, along with some live footage from their recent holiday show at The Theatre Of Living Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Man Overboard re-releasing compilation album “Before We Met”

Man Overboard are re-releasing “Before We Met” their first album on their own label, Lost Tape Collective.

Originally released in 2010 on Panic Records, the album is made up of b-sides, rarities and the band’s first EP, “Hung Up On Nothing.”

Man Overboard to release “Before We Me” on Vinyl with bonus tracks

New Jersey pop punkers Man Overboard will release their album “Before We Met” on Vinyl Lost Tape Collective. The release will feature new colors, gatefold jackets, and bonus tracks.

The tracklist hasn’t been revealed yet, but we’ll keep you posted.

Neighborhoods stream new song “Twenty-Three” off upcoming EP “Fighting Words”

Jersey Shore pop-punk outfit Neighborhoods are streaming a brand new song called “Twenty-Three” from their upcoming EP, “Fighting Words” right here.

“Fighting Words” is due out March 27th through Lost Tape Collective (the DIY label run by members of Man Overboard) and is a follow-up to the band’s “Facing A Lifetime” full-length released last Summer.
