Crystal Lake (Metalcore) stream new album “True North”

Crystal Lake, a metalcore band from Tokyo Japan, have made their new album “True North” available for streaming through the Artery Recordings YouTube page. You can check it out below.

“True North” was released on December 2 through Artery Recordings in North America, and follows their last album “The Sign” which was released on October 9, 2015. “True North” is also the second album Crystal Lake have had released through Artery Recordings.

West Virginia’s Dogjaw have released the music video for their song “Don’t Need Anyone.”

Dogjaw’s self-titled was released May 5, 2016 through Artistic Integrity Records. The band’s previous album, No One Will Ever Believe You, was released on April 15, 2014 through Rusted Chords Records.

Hoods sign to Artery Records, announce new album “Gato Negro” and stream new song “Night Rider”

Sacramento hardcore legends Hoods have announced that they have inked a deal with Artery Records, and will release their debut for the label, titled Gato Negro, on November 25th. You can pre-order a copy of Gato Negro here.

In addition, Hoods are streaming the song “Night Rider”, which is the first single from Gato Negro, and you can check it out below.

Vanna streams new track “Holly Hell” off upcoming album “VOID”

Massachusetts post-hardcore group Vanna just premiered their new track “Holly Hell” off their upcoming album, VOID. You can stream the song below.

VOID will be their debut album for Pure Noise Records, but their fifth full-length album overall. The album will be released on June 17th.

The band’s latest release was 2013′s “Preying/Purging” 7-inch. The group will be playing at this summer’s Warped Tour.



Slaves (Jonny Craig) announces “Through Art We Are All Equals” release date, artwork

Jonny Craig’s most recent project, Sacramento rock group Slaves, has just announced the release of their upcoming album, Through Art We Are All Equals, on June 24th, 2014 via Artery Recordings. The group has also released the album artwork, which can be viewed above.

Craig, the frontman, is most recognized from his days as a member of Dance Gavin Dance and Emarosa.



Vanna posts a video update on new album

As you may already know, Boston post-hardcore/screamo band Vanna has plans to release their fifth studio album on June 17th via Pure Noise Records.  The band posted a video to update fans on their progress, and you can check it out below.

Scars of Tomorrow reform, announce new album, stream new song

O.C. metalcore act Scars of Tomorrow just recently announced an official reunion, and are going to release new album, entitled Failed Transmissions, through Artery Recordings on June 24th. You can stream their brand new song “Questions” below. Frontman and Artery manager Mike Milford on the reunion:

“It’s been six years since the Scars of Tomorrow’s final tour. In that time, many things have happened and changed. Music is the best outlet for emotions and it’s something we all needed to feel again. This time, the game has changed and it is awesome to be able to write and play music for all of the right reasons again with no politics behind it.”

Scars of Tomorrow’s last album, The Failure in Drowning, was released in 2006 on Victory Records. They split up a year after the release of that album.
