Indianola Records hardcore band Words Like Daggers are streaming their new single “When in Rome.” This song is their first since “Literature” which was released spring of last year, and is to be included on their upcoming release.
Vocalist Lawton Herbert had this to say about the single, “We feel ‘When in Rome’ is our best work to date, and we are extremely excited to showcase it to the world as a teaser of what things are to come.”

Iowa hardcore act Words Like Daggers have announced they are currently recording a new EP and that they plan to release a new single, entitled “When In Rome,” sometime in the near future. Here’s a statement from the band:
“Recording drums for our upcoming EP and a lot of exciting plans in that direction. In the meantime, we’re finalizing the master of a brand new track, “When In Rome”…coming soon to ear holes near you.”
The band last released “Literature” in May of 2011 via Indianola Records. We’ll keep you posted as more details on their upcoming EP surface.

Iowa’s hardcore act Words Like Daggers will be headlining the ‘Feel Something’ tour featuring Alistair Hennessy and Honour Crest this August. They’re headed back on the road starting August 10th to further support their recently released Indianola Records debut Literature. The tour will begin in Minneapolis and take route to Des Moines, Albany, Staten Island, Baltimore and Marietta, GA. For a list of dates click here.
Joining Words Like Daggers will be Minneapolis, MN’s Alistair Hennessy (Persistent Heart Media) for the entire run. Honour Crest will be joining on select dates, August 13th through 21st, to support their forthcoming Indianola Records debut Metrics.

A Tragedy In Progress consists of the complete and original lineup of Across Five Aprils (2001-2008). The band reformed under the title of their first album after several reunion shows.

Raleigh, North Carolina’s Wealth in Water have signed to Indianola Records. The post-hardcore band has a debut full-length album due out later this year, which was tracked at Think Sound studios in North Carolina.

Midwest hardcore act Words Like Daggers have premiered a music video for their song “Preface” off their recently released their debut album, “Literature.” The video consists of live footage from an Omaha, NE show on January 14th and you can check it out here.
“Preface” was released in January on Indianola Records.
Literature is the follow-up to their self-released EP, “These Transient Times”, which is also available for streaming on their Facebook page.
