On each label the band will release a “Back To Our Roots” 7”-single, both combined on one mini-CD for Rebellion Records. With the exception of “Burn The Bastards”, originally recorded by The Lancasters in 2003, the remaining tracks on both singles are brand new and will reportedly take you back to their, modern day classic, debut of 2013.
In addition, the CD version of “Back To Our Roots” will feature the track “Christmas In New York” (from the compilation “Cashing In On Christmas” vol. 5, Black Hole Records) as a bonus, for a total of six songs, ready just in time before the band heads back to the mainland for yet another European tour.
Bishops Green last released “A Chance To Change” in 2015.

So Lazy Class has been putting out music for a few years now but I didn’t discover them until today so I figured if they’re “new” to me they’ll likely be “new” to a lot of you as well. The threesome from Poland plays straight up street-punk and if it weren’t for the slight Polish accent you’d easily think of them as an early 90’s Epitaph band. They just released a new EP titled “Hell Of San Domingo” through Rebellion Records and you can stream the entire thing below. —————————————-

This past weekend, Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco played host to over 20 bands from Thursday to Sunday, and can you believe it not one of them sucked?! Rare! Not so rare when you have Pirates Press putting the shows on. One of their newest bands is Vancouver-based Bishops Green, who performed Saturday night as part of the record label’s 9th anniversary celebration.
Unfortunately, I had to work late and was unable to make any of the band’s performance, however I was caught up to speed by friends who described the set as ‘crazy, in your face, classic streetpunk oi!’. Hearing this, I had to introduce myself to frontman Greg Huff, who totally lived up to the hype. If there is anyone you would want to front a band like Bishops Green, Huff is the man.
Check back tomorrow on DS for photos from Friday night’s anniversary show with Street Dogs, Harrington Saints, Custom Fit, Sydney Ducks, and Lenny Lashley.
