SLED (melodic hardcore) streaming two new songs off upcoming album “A Better You”

Florida melodic hardcore punk band SLED have released two songs off of their upcoming record, A Better You. The two songs, “Connect the Network” and “Wrong”, are part of the band’s upcoming 10-track full-length. The album will be the band’s first, despite playing tours and festivals around the world. The band has a fluctuating lineup, with the main members being Garrett Wadford (guitar), Micheal Fitzgerald (Fitzy) on Vocals, Matt Phillips (guitar), Lane Pittman (bass) and Kyle Helm (drums). Fill in members include Justin VanWestbroek of Guttermouth, Will Frazier of Whole Wheat Bread, Luis Martinez of La Armada and Simo Perini of Guttermouth/This Is A Standoff.

Jacksonville skate-punks Sled are streaming a new song from their upcoming album “A Better You”. The track is called “Wrong” and you can check it out below.

The LP will be released on September 15th via Bird Attack Records and will be the band’s first full length album. You can pre-order your copy on July 28th from their bandcamp page.



DS Interview: 88 Fingers Louie’s Denis Buckley discusses new album Thank You For Being A Friend

88 Fingers Louie formed in 1993 in Chicago. Now, as in earlier incarnations, 88 Fingers Louie is an often intensely personal, politically astute band. Also, the kind of band that could somehow take those two things and make them fun. When they dissolved in 1999, they were one of a handful of bands from that time period I always felt had at least another great album left in them. Thank You for Being a Friend, released by Bird Attack Records in June, proved that to be the truth. I had a chance to speak with vocalist Denis Buckley as the band was gearing up for their European tour.

No Trigger unveil “Dogs On Acid,” first single from upcoming album, “Adult Braces”

After a bit of time off the “new music” radar, it looks like No Trigger are finally back!

The Worcester, Massachusetts-based punks have announced details of a brand new 12-inch EP. It’s called “Adult Braces,” and it’ll be released by the good folks at Bird Attack Records in digital form on July 28th and on vinyl on August 11th.

As a bit of a teaser, the band have released a video for the album’s first single. It’s called “Dogs on Acid,” and you can check it out below! “Adult Braces” marks their first release since 2012’s “Tycoon.”



88 Fingers Louie streams new full length ‘Thank You For Being A Friend’

Chicago punk legends 88 Fingers Louie are streaming their new full-length album. ‘Thank You For Being A Friend’ will be out tomorrow (30th of June) via Bird Attack Records, but you can already listen to the whole thing below.

Thank You for Being a Friend is the band’s first album in almost 20 years, following 1998’s Back on the Streets.



Coercion (punk rock super group) premiere video for “Choices”

Coercion, which features members of Good Riddance, Death By Stereo, The Lonely Kings, Fury 66,  and Ghost Parade, have released a video for their single “Choices.”

The band is currently writing a full length record. They released an EP, “Exit Wounds,” on Bird Attack last year. They have three upcoming shows in CA in the next few weeks. Check out the video and the tour dates below!



Sled (formerly Pinhole Down) are streaming their debut single “Connect the Network”

Jacksonville four-piece Sled are allowing folks to stream their debut single ahead of their full album release in September. The band were formerly known as Pinhole Down, and being as one member runs Bird Attack Records, it makes sense that they’d release their material through them.

The legends that are 88 Fingers Louie are streaming a new track from their soon to be released record Thank You For Being a Friend. “Catastrophe Awaits” is the second tune that the band are previewing from the album which is due out on June, 30th, 2017, via Bird Attack Records.
