Darko (Melodic Hardcore, UK) Stream Video for “Life Blood”

One of the UK’s most exciting modern melodic hardcore bands have just released a video for the third single on their debut full-length record Bonsai Mammoth. “Lifeblood” sees the band in an altogether more shadowy context than fans might be accustomed to but the visuals complement the track’s introspective message well. You can watch the video in full below.

Main Line 10 (Melodic Hardcore, Spain) Stream Teaser Track From Forthcoming Record “The Fox”

Spanish melodic hardcore unit Main Line 10 have announced that they’ll release their next record on April 11. It’ll be titled The Fox. For fans who can’t wait those couple of days, however, the band have been good enough to throw up a track as a sample of things to come. You can listen to “Voices and Souls” below.

The previous release from Mainline 10 was the 2016 EP, Sharks.



No Fun At All premiere song “Runner’s High”

Swedish punk band No Fun At All have released a new single titled “Runner’s High”. The track comes off their upcoming full length titled “Grit” which is due out April 13 via Bird Attack Records.

Dead Neck (Melodic Hardcore, UK) Head Out on Short Euro Tour

The UK’s Dead Neck are hitting the road this spring for a short stint of tour dates culminating with a couple of festival appearances. The melodic hardcore three-piece will hit up Antwerp before heading into Germany for a couple of dates.

Following these shows, they’ll be performing alongside an eclectic line up at the Beauraing Is Not Dead festival in Belgium. Comprising the bill will be fellow punk rockers The Kirkz, Guerilla Poubelle, and Mad Men’s Team. A whole host of other genres will also be represented with ska, metalcore, math-rock, and even electro-jazz.

Local Resident Failure last released a split 7″ with local Australian act The Decline in 2016 via Pee Records.

Swedish skate punk legends No Fun At All have announced that they are to release a new album, “Grit”, on April 13th via Bird Attack Records. To mark the announcement, the band have released a video for one of the tracks from the album, “Spirit”. You can watch it below. Pre-orders and track listing info are up on Bandcamp.

The album is the first since 2008’s “Low Rider”.



Fair Do’s (Skate Punk, UK) Announce Debut Album “Leopards”

Manchester’s Fair Do’s have announced their debut full-length record. It will be titled Leopards and will be released via Bird Attack Records. According to the band’s Facebook page, the album will feature “10 tracks of our spiciest efforts, coming to your hearing holes, very soon!”

For now Fair Do’s don’t have a firm date for the release but rest assured, you’ll be the first to know when we find out.

 



Gods of Mount Olympus self-titled EP released

If you haven’t heard by now, Gods of Mount Olympus have released their self-titled EP, and it’s pretty fucking great. The band features Brian Wahlstrom of Scorpios, Paul Rucker of Street Dogs, Matt Riddle of No Use For a Name, and Steve Morris of Unwritten Law. You cannot possibly go wrong with that lineup.

Melbourne melodic punks Postscript are streaming their new EP “Black Blood”. They will be opening for Unwritten Law on February 23rd in Frankston.
