Japanese punk rockers Your Pest Band have made their new double LP titled “Old Springhead” available for streaming via the Dead Broke Rekerds Bandcamp page. You can listen to it below.

The album was released via Dead Broke Rekerds and Brassneck Records on April 1, and follows the band’s last release, 3 track EP “Never Fall You Again.”

Hot Mass (punk) streaming song, “Repeat,” off debut LP, ‘Nervous Tensions’

Swansea, UK punk band Hot Mass are streaming a track off their upcoming debut LP, Nervous Tensions. Give a listen to “Repeat” below.

The band is made up of members from UK punk bands you might or might not have heard of (The Arteries, Dividers, 33). As for the song, here’s what vocalist Jenks had to say:

“I’m coming to the end of my PhD and the song is about kinda losing the motivation for what I’ve been doing for the past four years. With deadlines, and the expectation to do well favouring repetitiveness over creativity. I think that imbalance applies to a lot of other things too.”

Nervous Tensions is due out this month (May) via Brassneck Records, All In Vinyl, and Waterslide Records.

French punks Ghost On Tape have announced that they will release their upcoming  4-song 7-inch EP “Ignoring All Traffic Lights” on April 23, 2016 through Brassneck Records (UK) Guerilla Asso (FR), Les Disques de Géraldine (FR) and BadMood Asso (FR). and I Hate Smoke Records (JP).

UK punk bands Spoilers and The No Marks have made their new split EP available for streaming, and you can give it a listen below.

Spoilers will be touring the UK with Snuff and Bad Cop/Bad Cop next month, so it’s only fitting that their tracks feature Snuff keyboardist Lee Murphy.
