New York City hardcore legend and frontman of Agnostic Front, Roger Miret is releasing a memoir. The memoir will document Miret’s life as frontman in one of the most influential hardcore bands of it’s time, as well as the trials and tribulations of growing up punk in 1980’s New York City. The book was co-written with Jon Wiederhorn, best known for his contributions to Rolling Stone as well as his book “Louder Than Hell: The Definitive Oral History of Metal”.
The book, set to be released August 29th via Lesser Gods, will feature forwards written by many of Miret’s peers in the punk world including Jerry Only. So many peers offered forwards that Lars Fredrickson of Rancid’s had to be left out. To hear what Lars had to say about Miret’s work click here.
