ALL formed in suburban Los Angeles in 1987 when Milo Aukerman, the lead singer of the Descendents, left to pursue a graduate degree in biochemistry, forcing the band into a hiatus. The remaining members – guitarist Stephen Egerton, bassist Karl Alvarez, and drummer Bill Stevenson – decided to carry on as a band, adopting the title of the Descendents’ last studio album ALL as their official moniker.

Cliffdiver release X-Ray Spex cover with Stephen Egerton of Descendents

Cliffdiver have released a cover of “Oh Bondage, Up Yours!” by X-Ray Spex. The cover features Stephen Egerton of Descendents and is available digitally now. Cliffdiver will be touring the US in early July both as headliners and as part of Sad Summer Fest before opening for Hot Mulligan on their US tour later that month. The band released their album Exercise Your Demons in 2022. Check out the song below.

Descendents

The Descendents are an American punk rock band formed in 1977 in Manhattan Beach, California, by guitarist Frank Navetta, bassist Tony Lombardo and drummer Bill Stevenson. In 1979, they enlisted Stevenson’s school friend Milo Aukerman as a singer, and reappeared as a punk rock band, becoming a major player in the hardcore punk scene developing in Los Angeles at the time. They have released eight studio albums, three live albums, three compilation albums, and four EPs. Since 1986, the band’s lineup has consisted of singer Milo Aukerman, guitarist Stephen Egerton, bassist Karl Alvarez, and drummer Bill Stevenson.

Descendents announce two UK shows

Descendents have announced two UK shows for this August. The Members will be joining them on both dates and Ramonas will be joining them on Aug 6. Tickets go on sale on April 21. Descendents will be touring California in May and touring the US and Canada with Circle Jerks and Adolescents in June. The band released 9th & Walnut in 2021. Check out the dates below.

Descendents' Milo suffers heart attack, is ok, EU tour canceled

Sadly, Milo of Descendents suffered a mild heart attack last night. He was rushed in for a procedure and is doing ok now. A full recovery is expected. However, the band has canceled their upcoming European tour. We wish Milo a speedy recovery.
