UK based record label Static Shock has announced the first wave lineup for their music festival Static Shock Weekend. Warthog, Diat, The Flex, Powerplant, Bootlicker, High Vis, Chain Whip, Taqbir, The Chisel, Home Front, Urin, Stingray, Desintegration, and Violenta are the bands that have been announced so far. The festival will take place September 8, 9, 10, and 11 in London, UK.

Festivals & Events: Chubby And The Gang, The Chisel, more to play Hoodstock 2023

Hoodstock has announced its lineup for this year. Anti!I, Anti-Net, Brnsrght, The Chisel, Chubby and The Gang, Deijuvhs, Felixthe1st, Gamboh, Island of Love, Kid Bookie, Letkojofly, Micromoon, Middleman, Nailbreaker, Onoe Capone, Paul Stephan, Princes Xixi, Rifle, Restless Taxis, Robinson’s Village, Sinner, Skeleton Boy, Taliable, Tolushorts and Friends, and Zuko will be playing the festival. Hoodstock will take place at the Colour Factory in London, UK on September 1. Proceeds from ticket sales go to the Hoodstock Fund which helps young artists “offset the studio and recording costs”.

UK-based music festival Static Shock Weekend has announced its first wave lineup for this year. The Chisel, Poison Ruin, Prison Affair, Hygiene, Alvilda, Pest Control, Boss, Spirito Di Lupo, Mock Execution, Turbo, Special Branch, Motive, and Churchgoers will be playing. Along with the announcement, a statement was released on Instagram which was written by Tom of Static Shock and reads, ”Just wanted to give everyone a head’s up that after 11 years, a lot of fun, headaches and stupidity that this year’s Static Shock Weekend will be the last. It’s at a point where it feels right to stop and I’m sure that damage is done, noise annoys, and countless others will keep smashing it in our absence. Thanks to everyone who has played, helped out or attended. You all know who you are and I’m forever grateful. See you in September." Static Shock Weekend will take place on September 14-17 in London, UK.

The Chisel

The Chisel are an English punk rock formed in London in 2020. Founded by former Arms Race members Nicholas Sarnella and Charlie “Chubby Charles” Manning-Walker, as well as electronic musician Callum Graham, the band has released one studio album and four EPs. Maximum Rocknroll writer Eric Anderson named them one of the leaders of “the new wave of Oi!”

UK punks The Chisel have announced plans for a brand-new album slated to hit the streets early next year. Entitled What A Fucking Nightmare, the record comes out February 9th on Pure Noise Entertainment. The lead single from the album, “Cry Your Eyes Out,” came out a little while back, and they’ve followed it up with a new single and video entitled “Fuck ‘Em.” Check it out below! The Chisel and MESS release split 7-inch

UK's The Chisel and Mexico'sThe Mess will release a split 7-inch this Friday. The US Edition is out via Beach Impediment and the Euro edition is out via Mendeku Diskak. The Chisel says this is a one-time only pressing in limited quantities. You can see the cover below.
