Albany, NY ska-punk band Girth Control‘s brand new record Life’s Too Short For Girth Control is due out this Friday, March 1st on Insidious Industries. The trio describes it as their “magnum opus, a 25-song punk rock epic where the hooks keep coming, the jokes never quit, and the sincerity sneaks up on you”. We’re excited to get in on the action with our exclusive premiere of the album’s newest single “Brain Freeze”!

Check out the music video below and pre-order the record here. They’ve got two awesome vinyl color variants to choose from, Golden Dorito and Very Classy Green, each of which is limited to 100 copies. Those who do not share my appreciation for colorful polyvinyl chloride music discs can get the digital download for $4.20 (haha weed number funny).

This premiere is brought to you in part by Punk Rock Radar. If you’d like your band’s music video to be premiered by Dying Scene and Punk Rock Radar, go here and follow these instructions. You’ll be on your way to previously unimagined levels of fame and fortune in no time!

Girth Control

Girth Control poses the eternal question: what got you stoked in the first place? The upstate NY ska/punk trio wants you to remember the days of circle pits and skateboards, basement bands and beer bongs, the beauty of punk rock in all its permutations. It’s the sound of three punk rock lifers fueled by the infectious joy of making dumb music with good friends, still stoked after all these years.
