Future Corpse (Prog/Post-Hardcore, Australia) Stream new album “Culture Ruins Everything Around Me”

The best thing about writing for an online magazine like DyingScene is finding banging new music from all corners of the globe. The best thing about writing for an online magazine like DyingScene is finding banging new music from all corners of the globe. This morning my eyes and ears have been opened to the technical progressive hardcore sounds of Melbourne’s Future Corpse – a three-piece blend of musical insanity that’s an absolute must-listen for fans of riffery, odd song structures, and creative timings.

Future Corpse have just released Culture Ruins Everything Around Me. The seven track record is the most recent from the band since their 2016 release, Another World to Consume.

Check out Culture Ruins Everything Around Me below.

This up and coming punk quartet was birthed on the banks of the River Clyde in Glasgow, Scotland. From the moment they began in 2013, the band was playing an infectious and invigorating style of melodic punk rock, influenced by the likes of Iron Chic, Dead To Me and The Menzingers, but with a characteristic Scottish cadence akin to The X-Certs or Twin Atlantic. With a depth of songwriting and maturity beyond their tender years, Goodbye Blue Monday is one of the more exciting new Scottish punk bands to emerge in recent years. Today, we’re pleased to premiere their upcoming EP Misery Punk Ruined My Life, which serves as a follow-up to 2017’s exceptional EP The Sickness, The Shame! Stream all three tremendous tracks below!
