Last week, we reported that The Offspring were back in the studio recording their highly-anticipated new album with Bob Rock, who produced their last two records. Over the weekend, drummer Pete Parada posted a video of himself on Facebook in the studio laying down drums on what appears to be a new Offspring song. He also posted an update on the new album on Twitter, saying:
“Recording was a blast. Made it home last night just in time to carve pumpkins. Hope you all had a nice Halloween!”
We’ll keep you posted as more details on the new Offspring album surface. It will be the band’s first album 2012’s Days Go By. Earlier this year, they released a new single called “Coming for You“, which may appear on the new album. The band recently sold their catalog on Columbia Records.
