It’s been about a year since Gainesville folk-punkers, Greenland Is Melting, released their debut full-length “Our Hearts are Gold, Our Grass is Blue” but that doesn’t mean they’ve been inactive. In fact, the band has recently recorded three traditional songs for an EP titled “Folk Songs From Florida: Volume 1,” which they plan to release for free via Paper+Plastick Records. Fans will be able to download the EP for free from the P+P or band websites.
To make the release extra special, the folky threesome have recorded live, front porch performances of all 3 songs appearing on the EP. Dying Scene and ThePunkSite.com will be premiering a video for each of them, every week on Tuesday. Today we have the third, and final, video of the band’s front porch performance and it’s called “Noodlin/Cripple Creek”–two songs in one! Click here to watch the video.
The band has also announced January/February tour dates with Tim Barry. Check out the dates and locations here.
