Austrian Death Machine, the Arnold Schwarzenegger-fronted side project of As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis, is pushing ahead with the release of their long-awaited album “Triple Brutal.” Here’s what Lambesis had to say in the first of a series of facebook posts:
We booked mastering time this week to make the official CD with track markers and all! Now on to discussions about who will manufacture Triple Brutal so we can get it to those of you who have been waiting. As said before, we are sorry for the delay and appreciate the understanding given the major recent events.
“Triple Brutal,” as you may know, was a crowd-funded project. When asked if the final album would be “$250 good,” Lambesis responded:
When we know a little more about what is going on legally we can make a general statement about how we’ll be handling those passes. In the meantime, we apologize if you sent us a message about it through the campaign. We are trying to catch up on the personal messages there and can address it there.
It should be noted that the giant elephant in the room that Lambesis is referring to pertains to his recent arrest for trying to hire a hitman to kill his wife. He’s presently out on bail and wearing a GPS monitoring device.
