The Minoritys Bio:
The Minoritys are a collision of artists with backgrounds as original as their style of hardcore. With influences ranging from melodic punk rock to garage metal, a twist of old school hip hop rounds out a simply unique sound. Most of these fellas have been staples of their local music scene, be it early 90’s to most of the 2000’s. Song after song is an insite to the bands members as well as an interesting look on society. A well oiled machine of solid, hard and ballsy tracks, that keep you dancing (and probably drinking) all night. With a full year of shows and multiple venues under their belt, the bands live performance is an exciting and nonstop thrill. Having broken through in their local scene, the band has played in all of Hampton Roads. Venturing as far as Baltimore to play Fall Brawl 2011, with bands like Stout, No Redeeming Social Value, Murphys Law, and Madball. Never cocky nor deserving, the members are humble and down-to-earth, willing to pick up and play anywhere, anytime. The Minoritys first EP, Blood Sweat and Beers, dropped in May of 2011 with frenzied tracks like Instep and Save Yourself, the crowd cant help but mob the mic. Through much tribulation and with another EP on the way, The Minoritys aren’t slowing down or unplugging anytime soon. From Newport News to Buckroe, straight out of the 757, keep your ears and eyes ready for this gritty brand of true Hardcore!
