Blink 182 releases video for “Up All Night” rewarding fans for copyright infringement

Yes, more Blink 182 news today. The pop-punkers just put up a video rewarding fans for, ahem, borrowing their music. It’s called “The Blink 182 Film Festival You Didn’t Know You Entered,” and it’s a video for “Up All Night.” As it says at the opening of the clip:

To launch our first single in eight years, AT&T helped us search YouTube for every instance of fans using our music without our permission. And then we rewarded them for it. This film is made out of clips from all those videos. Thanks for being a fan.”

“Up All Night” debuted a couple of weeks ago and is slated to appear on “Neighborhoods,” which drops September 27.
