Can anybody here the word Fugazi without beginning to silently hum the bass line to “Waiting Room”? That’s what I’m doing as I write this post anyway.
The semi-defunct punk band Fugazi have officially launched a website to distribute tracks of their 800 live shows, with the first batch of 130 going up today. For the band, the goal of this project is to make each of these recordings available to download for a small fee. You can support their DIY effort here.
Although Fugazi have never officially disbanded, they have been on an indefinite hiatus since the 2001 release of their most recent studio album The Argument.
