Further Seems Forever reuniting with original singer Chris Carrabba

It would appear that pioneering emocore act Further Seems Forever are reuniting with original frontman Chris Carrabba, who left the band in 2000 to pursue his then-solo acoustic project Dashboard Confessional. Details are currently sparse as to what the reunion entails—one show, a tour, new songs or even more—but the group have posted a short teaser video of them rehearsing “The Moon Is Down” at their new website which ends with the word “SPRING,” indicating that whatever is going to happen is still a few seasons away. The band have also launched an official Twitter account, although it remains quiet at present time.

Carrabba fronted the band’s most well-known and beloved release, 2001’s The Moon Is Down; the singer previously reunited with FSF’s original lineup to headline the Bamboozle in 2005. After Carrabba’s initial departure, Further Seems Forever went through two more singers, Jason Gleason and Jon Bunch, before disbanding in 2006.
