Indy, Victoria, if you want me to listen to your band I’ve never heard of then give away your music for free, right?
Erm, you can listen to most anything online for free. Spotify is great for it and most bands put their stuff on their own website for people to check out. And believe it or not, MySpace is still good for bands/individual artists. But I do agree that if you wanna make a name for yourself you pretty much have to give it away, but you need to do it in a way that people will find it by stumbling across it. (Pandora is great for it)
