Michigan’s Fireworks have just announced their fall headlining tour with fellow Michiganders The Swellers, MA’s Transit, NJ’s Man Overboard and a few special appearances by pop-punk heavyweights New Found Glory. The tour starts in mid-August and runs across North America through October 1. – get all the details right here.
The tour takes its name from Fireworks’ last album, All I Have Left To Offer Is My Own Confusion, which came out last spring on Triple Crown Records, and it was produced by NFG guitarist Chad Gilbert – coincidence? I think not! Fireworks also just wrapped up the Enemy Of Europe Tour with Four Year Strong and The Wonder Years.
The Swellers are currently on Warped Tour and their last release was 2009’s Ups And Downsizing (Fueled By Ramen). Transit is on the tail end of a tour with A Loss For Words and is due to put out a new record around the time of this tour on Run For Cover Records. Man Overboard is in the middle of a tour run with Balance and Composure and then Tigers Jaw – they’re slated to drop their debut full-length Real Talk on July 20, also through Run For Cover.
