Boston police try, poorly, to Catfish local punk shows

The Boston police have apparently been posing online as punk/indie rockers to try and get info on house shows so they can break them up. Social media has become a part of detective work, but let’s be honest, they didn’t do a very good job with their Catfish attempt. Other bands have reported similar encounters from poorly-disguised non-punks who are most likely cops trying to get the dirt. Read the full story here.
