Bouncing Souls begin writing new album, tease live album; Greg Attonito side project releases “Ninja Pajamas”

I took the liberty of combining a few Bouncing Souls stories for your Hump Day evening…you’re welcome!

First and foremost, the band recently announced (via Facebook) that they’re in the process of writing a new album! It’ll serve as a follow-up to 2012’s “Comet.” Second off, the band announced a home state show at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville on July 17th, at which they’ll play “How I Spent My Summer Vacation” from front-to-back, in addition to debuting some of the new tracks their working on. Also, in fairly cryptic fashion, the band teased that the show is being recorded “just in time for the holidays.” What ever could that mean?!?

But saving the best for last…as you may or may not know, front man Greg Attonito has a side project called Play Date. If you were unaware, Play Date is a family-friendly kid-centric band. They’ve got a new album, “We All Shine,” coming out July 24th. The first single is called “Ninja Pajamas.” To mark the occasion, the band have unveiled some special merch just for your kiddos. You guessed it…it’s Ninja Pajamas! Go here for more information on how to order your kid some Ninja Pajamas, and stream the song itself below!
