In another instance of old man winter being a total jerk, incoming severe weather is forcing the cancellation of the Eat Your Heart Out festival, scheduled for Feb 8-10th in Poughkeepsie, NY. Promoters posted an apology on the festival’s official page, bowing to the forecasts of 18+ inches of snow over the weekend and the impact this weather would have on load ins and fans/bands ability to reach the show.
Those with tickets should be able to obtain a refund at point of purchase. Don’t cry too hard – any forecast of extreme, historic snow only gets extreme by wrecking your day.
