When last we heard from California-via-Dorchester’s Bryan McPherson, he was making news by getting banned by Disney, forbidden from fulfilling his show-opener role as the Dropkick Murphys rolled through Anaheim.
McPherson has spent the better part of the last several years circling the country, and wrote and recorded a brand-new album, “Wedgewood,” while on the road. He’s now launched a Kickstarter campaign to help with the physical production and release of “Wedgewood” via his on label, OFD Records (Bostonians will dig the reference). Some pretty cool options available, particularly the chance to join McPherson on stage for a song, a chance to play roadie for a night, and a chance to actually develop your own record label, logo and all. Check out all options here.
McPherson’s last release was 2012’s “American Boy, American Girl” (State Line Records).
