Civet lose half their band members mid tour but still releasing new full-length

The two founding members of Civet (sisters Liza and Suzi) were apparently taken by complete surprise when their drummer and bass player left the band in the middle of their Nashville Pussy tour.  Reasons for their departure were unspecified but Civet’s remaining vocalist and guitar player promise fans they will be back in action with new members by next year.  They also mentioned that their new full-length is finished and is slated for release in February.  You can read the whole “heartbreaking” announcement from the band here.

Civet released “Hell Hath No Fury” on Hellcat Records in 2008.
