Dave Hause from The Loved Ones is opening for AFI on 2 dates only…Did Gallows leave the tour?

dave-hauseIf you already have your tickets to see AFI on November 15th or 16th, then you my friends are in for a pleasant surprise. Dave Hause (lead singer of The Loved Ones ), got a last minute phone call to fill in as the opening act and he said yes! You can read exactly what he had to say on the Full Story page. So if you were already planning on going, make sure you show up extra early so you don’t miss it…and if you weren’t planning on going maybe this will make you re-arrange your schedule a bit. Check the Dying Scene Shows page for locations.

The question is….what happened to Gallows? Well rumor has it that they are leaving the AFI tour altogether. According to some tweets, they aren’t feeling too well..it is flu season and all.. But like I said it’s a rumor, so who knows if it’s true. If you have any more info on the topic let us know! We will keep you updated if we have anymore details to report.

SHOW TOMORROW IN MYRTLE BEACH AND MONDAY In ATLANTA WITH AFI
So I got a call today from my old friend in AFI saying that the band they had opening for them on their current tour cancelled. They asked if I could open for them in Myrtle Beach and Atlanta tomorrow and Monday, too which I said of course. So if you live in those towns and want to come out, see you at the shows.

Nov 15 House of Blues Myrtle Beach SC opening for AFI
Nov 16 Tabernacle Atlanta GA opening for AFI

Thanks
Dave

*UPDATE* Gallows made the following statement about their tour with AFI…

    “Hey everyone

We will not be appearing on the remaining 5 dates with AFI we were scheduled to play.
This is due to members of the band being very sick & we need some urgent rest. We’re very sorry to anyone who bought tickets to see us on these shows, we will be back soon!

Please still go out to the shows and support AFI who are all amazing people and have been nothing but wonderful to us for the last few weeks.

    GALLOWS”
