Fake Problems almost finished recording new album

Florida’s folk rockers Fake Problems are scheduled to finish the recording process for their upcoming full length next month.  The band has teamed up with producer Ted Hutt who produced their third album, Real Ghosts Caught On Tape.

They had this to say via their blog:

Hey!  Just a little update – we’ve just gotten back from Los Angeles, where we spent the past two months working on our 4th record with producer Ted Hutt (he did our last record “Real Ghosts Caught On Tape” as well as some amazing records for bands like The Gaslight Anthem, Lucero and The Bouncing Souls).  We will have more information about that record in the coming months.

The band quietly released a brand new song titled “Sugar” a few months ago.

Fake Problems released their third studio album,Real Ghosts Caught On Tape, in September 2010 through SideOneDummy Records. More recently they released a split with fellow Floridians You Blew It!, titled Florida Doesn’t Suck, through Topshelf Records this past February.
