Hopeless & Sub City Records launch Indiegogo campaign to fund launch of Sub City Studios

Hopeless and Sub City Records have teamed up with New Directions For Youth, a California based organization that provides programs and services for at-risk youths and their families  to launch Sub City Studios.

According to the label, “the recording studio will offer a safe and encouraging place for teens after school and during breaks; acting as an alternative to turning towards gangs, drugs and violence. It will be located in Hopeless Records’ hometown of the San Fernando Valley and will be part of New Directions for Youth’s brand new facility opening in 2014. Sub City has already directly funded much of the construction and now looks to fans to help make this project a reality!”

They have also secured perks from such Hopeless Records groups like the Used, Thrice, Taking Back Sunday, and more.
