Intervention (emo pop-punk) stream new single “Drained” off upcoming EP “Lucid”

Florida emo pop-punk band Intervention are streaming a brand new track from their upcoming EP Lucid. The song is called “Drained” and it is officially the newest single off of the release. Vocalist Drew Portalatin made some insightful comments regarding this upcoming project:

“We took some time off as a band to really refine our sound to something that we all love. We want to keep the pop aspects of the music as well as blend it with more aggressive, rock and roll sound that influenced our musical upbringing. Tate made our vision into a reality and we can’t be thankful enough. Tate has done some of our favorite records/songs so it was an honor to work with him His notable pieces are Daisyhead’s The Smallest Light which was put out in 2015 on No Sleep Records, and Better Off’s single ‘Meth Head.'”

You can stream the song below.

Lucid is set to be released in December of this year. It is the band’s sophomore EP and will serve as a follow-up to their 2014 EP I’m No Good.
