Interview: Davey Havok talks new music for Blaqk Audio

AFI News Headquarters recently conducted an interview with AFI lead singer, Davey Havok, in which he discussed the releasing of new music from his and Jade’s electro side project Blaqk Audio.  The full interview hasn’t been posted yet but they did mention that Davey and Jade have recorded 33 new songs and plan to release something “shortly after” AFI is done touring their new album Crash Love.  Says Davey:

“There is so much material that we have… Jade and I have been talking about which songs are going to go where, and we’ve had thoughts of releasing EP’s and singles… it’s really difficult to create a record because I feel that so much is going to be left out.”

Blaqk Audio’s first album, CexCells, was released in 2007 on Interscope Records.
