Interview: Emily’s Army talk new album, band origins and (of course) Billie Joe

In anticipation of the release of their debut full-length, “Don’t Be A Dick,” Cole and Joey of Emily’s Army recently sat down for a little chat with AMP Magazine. During the course of the interview, the whippersnappers discuss the origins of the band (which sounds odd coming from a band whose oldest member is 17), the band’s sound, and the songwriting process. Oh, they also touch on what it was like to work with Joey’s daddy, none other than Billie Joe Armstrong. Check out the full interview here.

“Don’t Be A Dick” was released yesterday on Adeline Records. The album’s artwork can be seen at the left. If you like it, head to our Cover Art of the Week contest and cast your vote!
