Wacken Open Air festival announces next year’s lineup

Yes, next summer is still far, but organizers have announced the lineup for the 23rd annual Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place August 2-4, 2012 in Wacken, Germany.

Scheduled to perform are Sick of It All, former Black Flag singer Henry Rollins (spoken word), Amon Amarth, Axel Rudi Pell, Cradle of Filth, Dark Funeral, Dimmu Borgir (with orchestra), Endstille, Forbidden, Gamma Ray, HammerFall, In Extremo, Machine Head, Moonspell (acoustic show), Napalm Death, Paradise Lost, Scorpions, Six Feet Under, U.D.O., Watain, Winterfylleth and a reunited Ministry. More bands or artists are expected to be announced.
