Interview: Paul (Cripple) Bakija talks about, punk, politics and the future of Reagan Youth

Reagan Youth guitarist Paul (Cripple) Bakija was recently interviewed in Tompkins Square Park on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, where he talks about anarchy, addiction, punk and politics. He also talks about Reagan Youth’s legacy and recording an album in honour of their late singer Dave Insurgent, who killed himself in 1993. You can listen to the 32-minute interview here.

Reagan Youth have been back together for years, but they haven’t released any new material since their 1984 only full-length album Youth Anthems for the New Order, although they had released the Volume 1 and Volume 2 albums in 1989 and 1990 respectively, which both featured some half-new and half previously-unreleased material.
