Last March, we reported that the British heavy metal icons Motörhead were back in the studio recording what will be their 21st studio album with Cameron Webb (Social Distortion, Pennywise), who produced, engineered and mixed their last four albums.
Word from the Motörhead camp now is that three pictures from the studio have surfaced, one with Lemmy reading what appears to be the lyrics to the new songs, and two photos of Cameron Webb tracking the record. Go here to check ’em out!
The new Motörhead record is expected to be released this summer. Their most recent studio album, The Wörld Is Yours, was released in Europe in December 2010 and in the United States a month later. The band has also considered the idea of recording a covers album.
