In a recent interview with Ventura County Star, Casey Royer revealed that O.C. punk legends D.I. have been working on a new album, which will be their first full-length since 2007’s On the Western Front, although he didn’t reveal much information about it. He states:
“The next step is we’re going to be working on a new album and the band right now is so tight, so dedicated and I’m working on doing another western European tour. We haven’t been there in 25 years — we were huge over there — bigger than we’ve ever been. I still look younger than a lot of people my age — some of them look like they’re 80. Yeah, I’ve been taking care of myself, drinking a lot of homemade vegetable juice. I’m just livin’ the dream, man.”
D.I. last released the United We Slam EP in 2012.
