Nopron (hardcore) signs to Panic Record for release of debut EP, streams new song “Baits”

After nearly 2 years of inactivity Panic Records are back with a new signing. Italy’s hardcore act Nopron are the newest band to join the label’s roster and on October 1st Panic will be putting out the band’s debut, self-titled EP.

You can stream (and download for free) a new song from the release titled “Baits” below.

Here’s a not from Timm, the founder of Panic Records, about the new status of the label:

“Doing a label isn’t a paying job, but it’s a job that you pay to do. I sacrificed my time and my own money doing the label. I fell in love with the music that I was putting out and formed some friendships with some of the greatest people that will forever be in my life and I in theirs. At it’s peak, Panic was worth all the time and effort put into it. A little over two years ago I gave up doing Panic Records. It sat in dust in a warehouse and the website / store hadn’t been updated and I was no longer able to access the admin to do anything with it.
Here we are two years later and two of my friends are wanting to breath new life into Panic Records to keep it going. Josh and Van will be taking over all things Panic Records. I will still be in the background, because when you love something as much as I loved doing this label, it’s hard to let go. I won’t be involved in the day to day operations, but here and there I’ll lend a hand. Josh and Van have left the door open to me to be as involved as I would like to be. I am grateful to them both for the effort that they will be putting into keeping the dream alive and excited to see where things go from here.

Thanks to those that supported the label over the years, it was truly appreciated.

Timm”
