The guys in Richmond, VA’s Smoke or Fire have done it again with their newest release from Fat Wreck Chords, a 2-song 7” called “Prehistoric Knife Fight.”

Both of these songs are pretty freaking awesome. The first side, “Speak Easy,” is a relentless, riff-heavy song of drink and escapism. The second, “Modesty,” is a little slower, and a little longer, but still totally solid.

A teaser to their third full-length release, “PKF” continues the course of this group’s energetic, basement-show sound. If it ain’t broke, don’t fucking fix it. And by the sounds of it these guys don’t own a toolkit.
