Social Distortion’s Mike Ness interviewed by KTLA News

Last Sunday (December 2nd), KTLA Orange County Bureau Chief Chip Yost conducted an interview with Mike Ness of Social Distortion.

In the interview, which you can watch here, Mike talked mostly about his career in Social Distortion, how the band carried on without original guitarist Dennis Danell (who died in 2000) and his early drug abuse. He and Yost also took a tour around Social Distortion’s new studio, where the band is working their next album, which is tentatively due for release in late 2013/early 2014.

Social Distortion last released Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes last year through Epitaph, and recently announced that they are planning to begin writing a new album next year.
