Story Of The Year, fresh off of headlining the “Scream It Like You Mean It” tour, have announced plans to start working on a new album. Frontman Dan Marsala recently did an interview where he addressed the band’s plans following their two-year hiatus and the acoustic release of “Page Avenue: Ten Years and Counting,” which came out in October. Check out some of his comments below and read the full interview here.
“We’re talking a lot about it, trying to figure out what we want to do.
We knew we wanted to focus on the anniversary for now and have that be our stepping stone into the right mindset. I think we’re going to be writing and sharing ideas throughout the touring, then see where we are and focus after that. We don’t want to rush anything; it’s been awhile since we put out a record of all new songs, so we want to make sure we do something we love and go in the right direction and know what we’re doing. So we’re not gonna rush it but, yes, we are going to get to work soon. I’m sure of that.”
