Blabbermouth.net is reporting that Suicidal Tendencies are rumored to be opening for Megadeth on their upcoming tour with Children of Bodom and Havok, which is tentatively expected to kick off in February. No tour dates or any details have been announced, but we’ll keep you posted as more details on the tour come to light.
If the tour were to happen, it would be the first time in over 20 years that Suicidal Tendencies and Megadeth toured together. Both bands participated in the Clash of the Titans tour in Europe in 1990 (along with Slayer and Testament), and two years later, Suicidal opened for Megadeth on their Countdown to Extinction tour.
Suicidal Tendencies have reportedly been working on new material for their follow-up to 2013’s 13. Megadeth are releasing a new album as well, titled Dystopia, which is due for release on January 22nd, 2016. Children of Bodom last released I Worship Chaos a month ago, while Havok last released Unnatural Selection in 2013 and will be putting out a new album early next year.
